The table below represents the recommended business practices for tag submission and assessment deadlines for Interchange Transactions whose Sink Control Areas are within the Eastern Interconnection. The table describes the various recommended minimum submission and assessment timing requirements. To the extent an entity utilizes a different practice than the one recommended in this Policy the entity shall:

·         File and have the practice accepted by its regulator.

·         Submit an explanation to NERC of the differences in its regulator-approved practice and Policy 3.
  

 Below is a listing of the Standard submission times,   other entities non-standard submission times, and Comments on submission times.  Non-Standard items and comments will be listed in red.

Provider Assessment Time
     <= 2 Hours from tag receipt
     <= 10 Minutes from tag receipt
     <= 20 Minutes from tag receipt

     4 Hours prior to start

     Regardless of duration, if it is for Day-Ahead, then the deadline is prior to the noon Energy Market Daily Trading Deadline, unless using PJM Non-Firm Hourly Transmission Service that is released by PJM at noon, in which case up to 30 minutes after noon.
     Regardless of duration,if it is for Short Notice, i.e., after the noon Energy Market Daily Trading Deadline, then the PSE Submit Deadline is 90 minutes prior to start.
